Our Project Controls group in St. John\'s, NL is looking for an Intermediate Estimator to join their team!

What will you be doing?

• Prepare estimates for EPC & Maintenance scopes
• Work closely with Project teams to coordinate inputs for estimates
• Propose and obtain approval of units and their costs as well as justifications
• Evaluate and recommend allowances for design unknowns, escalation, contingency, and fees
• Review estimates based on experience and historical information
• Prepare change requests and maintain estimating and change request registers
• Monitor cost forecast and analyze trends to make recommendations to Project team
• Research cost and productivity trends for the development of future estimates
• Assist with monthly contract reporting (cost, KPI, etc)

We think you should have:

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related discipline, or a combination of relevant education and experience
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Estimating/Project Controls within an engineering or construction environment
• Familiar with variety of estimating methods and techniques
• Knowledge of project controls and budget monitoring
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools and applications
