About the role
The Sales Broker role will be fundamental in the growth of SimplInsur. The role will be key to provide professional and best in class customer experience to our future and existing clients. Additionally, the person will promote all the available suit of products to customer.
The duties
Receive inbound calls and live call transfers from potential clients for home and auto insurance;
Make outbound calls to clients who have requested an insurance quote;
Listen attentively and understand clients' home and auto insurance needs;
Use Insurance Company Portals to process new business submissions;
Make clear and concise notes regarding risk and underwriting in our CRM;
Ensure quality productivity and target objectives are met;
Process callbacks and new business submissions in a timely manner;
Keep up to date on insurance trends and legislative changes;
Maintain relationships with Underwriters and insurance partners.
The must haves
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience;
Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario license in good standing (RIBO);
Strong communication skills;
Focus on best-in-class customer experience;
Sense of responsibility;
Team player;
Organize et responsible;
Knowledge of the different insurance portals;
Demonstrate knowledge of variety of complex P&C product placement.
