We have two types of roles at this time: Producer role or a CSR role in our Commercial Lines team. As a Producer you will spend most of your time finding new business and servicing the book of business you created, which gives you more referrals and more growth. You are not limited to selling only Commercial Lines. You can sell Personal Lines if you wish and find it useful to close commercial accounts. As a CSR you will be providing service to accounts and/or working directly with the Producer to manage and grow a book of business. This role is for an already established broker that is looking for new challenges or the opportunity to earn more. Producers are not limited to selling Commercial Insurance. Sometimes you round up accounts by selling the Personal Insurance as well to make customers happy. Bring in the business and make the commissions! Your work will focus on all lines of business insurance. We have all the markets you need to be successful. We create customized solutions for our clients that require expertise and leadership for their insurance programs. What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a business development specialist / producer to join our commercial insurance division anywhere within Ontario. They will use their previous knowledge and relationships to find new customers to create customized insurance programs to protect their assets. Proactively identify new business opportunities and build relationships with quality commercial lines business leads via referrals and other business development techniques. Develop submissions for markets that will meet the needs of the clients. Present, assert and can speak to all stakeholders to share our value proposition. Quote prospects to meet and exceed monthly quotas for quotes and production. Continually develop and maintain a comprehensive prospecting and sales plan that will help drive sales Service your clients, get referrals and grow the book of business. What You Bring

  • Valid RIBO License Required
  • 3+ years of commercial lines insurance sales experience is preferred, strong sales skills within the industry with a willingness to learn will be considered.
  • Knowledge of risks associated with large commercial business accounts (Large construction, Manufacturing, transportation & logistics, etc.)
  • Self-Motivated with a passion for sales
  • Self-managing with strong analytical, and organizational skills
  • Confident, poised, and interactive - when client-facing communicates effectively, demonstrates emotional intelligence, and understands how to tailor responses in a variety of dynamic situations
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Working towards CAIB and/or CIP preferred
  • Creative ability to influence and negotiate
  • Persistent and results oriented
  • Excellent computer skills are expected.
  • PowerBroker and HubSpot fluency are an asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products \xe2\x80\x93 specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
