Steel Wings Canada Industrial Ltd is hiring Insulation Superintendent :

Overview:

The

Insulation Superintendent:

is responsible for managing field crews, overseeing day-to-day operations on insulation job sites, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification. This role requires a hands-on leader with in-depth knowledge of insulation systems, materials, and best practices in both commercial and industrial environments.

Essential Functions:

Oversee and manage all field activities for insulation projects Supervise and coordinate insulation crews and subcontractors Ensure work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and project specifications Conduct site inspections and monitor work quality and progress Manage material deliveries, equipment, and tools needed on site Collaborate with Project Managers to align on scheduling and labor needs Maintain daily logs, timekeeping, and jobsite reports Communicate effectively with clients, general contractors, and internal teams Lead safety meetings and enforce site safety protocols

Working Conditions:

Working conditions include outdoor and indoor field, yard, and shop locations. Working indoors in an office environment Utilization of Personal Protective Equipment is necessary. Frequent travel as required

Ability to work with all levels of the Company Ability to meet deadlines and work independently Comfortable working in a hands-on environment

Education & Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial and/or industrial insulation:

Prior supervisory or foreman experience required Strong knowledge of insulation systems (pipe, duct, equipment), materials (fiberglass, foam, mineral wool, etc.), and installation techniques Proven leadership and crew management skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work plans Strong focus on jobsite safety and quality control Excellent communication and problem-solving skills OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
