Tasks
Inspect and test operation of instruments and systems Repair and adjust system components Complete test and maintenance reports Remove and replace defective parts Calibrate components and instruments Logical approach for troubleshooting Determine testing and maintenance procedures Install new measuring instruments Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work Read and interpret blueprintsCertificates, licences, memberships, and courses
Certified Engineering Technologist (CET)Type of service and repair
Electrical control system Electronic process instrumentation Computerized instrumentation system Programmable logic controller (PLC)Instrument experience
