Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:



Adhere to all company Environmental, Heath, and Safety policies and procedures set out by Epscan Maintain a high level of safety awareness and adherence Able to perform repairs, order material and train/mentor apprentices with the maintenance, replacement, and installation of equipment. Strong understanding and use of Instrumentation Test Equipment & will be able to complete calibrations unattended. Capable of setting set points on safety shutdown device(s) & should be able to complete calibrations unattended in most situations. Working with advanced meter(s) checking for continuity, resistance, voltages and current readings Working with advanced calibration devices such as Pressure, Level & Temperature transmitters, Hart Communicators, various RTU's and PLC's Responsible for all administrative, material ordering, and QAQC documents directly associated with the project and collecting information for QAQC documents for Project Managers. Display the ability to lead on maintenance, construction and upgrade projects and assisting others with basic troubleshooting skills and make decisions on their own A strong knowledge of Analyzers, Gas Chromatographs, and other process sensing equipment Able to work on Process equipment at Plant facilities such as Boilers, Separators, Line heaters, Compressors, VRU's and other essential process equipment with little to no assistance Will be able to work alone on or around any 'live' process or equipment without supervision or a qualified client representative's guidance - includes isolation and de-pressuring of any system Familiar and confident in Gas Detection, LEL Detection & Fire Detection systems Work with a variety of pneumatic, electronic and microcomputer instruments used to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, level, motion, force and chemical composition Consult manufacturers' manuals to determine test and maintenance procedures. Use pneumatic, electrical and electronic testing devices to inspect and test instrument and system operation, diagnose faults and tubing Practice loss management principles Consult with and advise process operators Repair, maintain and adjust system components or remove and replace defective parts. Conduct risk assessments Calibrate and maintain components and instruments according to manufacturers' specifications Work with engineers on basic design. Install and maintain instruments on new or existing plant equipment and processes. Interpret and use appropriate CSA, ISA and API installation standards and practices. On-call support as required

Successful candidates will have the following skills, experience, and personal attributes:



Qualifications

Journeyman Red Seal Certification A valid Drivers License and good driving record Completed training in CSO, Standard First Aid, H2S Alive Strong problem solving and communication skills (both oral and written)
Experience

Prior work experience in the construction, maintenance and/or electrical/instrumentation industry with a minimum of three years of experience in an oilfield industrial environment Wages dependent on experience
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42.00-$48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 84 per week
