The Specialist, Instrument Logistics works closely with the various business units to meet sales objectives related to instrument installation. In addition, he is responsible for coordinating a number of activities related to instrument uninstallations and returns, service calls as well as evaluations / demos to promote our instruments. He must know the organization very well in order to guide the sales and service teams by acting quickly in unusual situations and proposing solutions in order to always support the customer's needs. The actions that are taken are of major importance because of the impact they have on the course of the instrument installation process.

The Opportunity:



Coordinate instrument installation logistics by collaborating with sales, technical teams, and other organizational groups, ensuring all necessary resources and solutions are in place. Support sales and technical teams with guidance, information sharing, and education on operational best practices. Address questions related to instruments, installations, billing, and inventory, while mitigating potential financial impacts. Manage complaint escalation processes and oversee corrective, preventive, and improvement actions. Handle forecasting of instrument needs and submit monthly facility forecasts to global teams. Manage product ordering with suppliers, resolving issues such as backorders, and oversee used instrument handling, returns, and disposals to optimize storage costs. Oversee and maintain the instrument database, while developing and maintaining business processes for logistics, installations, and uninstallations. In this position, you will be in contact with colleagues across Canada, so a proficient level of English and fluency in French is required

Who you are:



You hold a DEC / Diploma of Collegial Studies or BA You have 5-7 years of materiel management or service support experience Tactical thinking and influence You will be managing priorities with a strong sense of urgency, strong business acumen, strong organizational skills and the ability to embrace change You have a strong analytical skills You have MS Office applications (advanced knowledge of Excel) & SAP APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) an asset Continuous improvement certification an asset

Coordonner la logistique des installations d'instruments en collaborant avec les equipes commerciales, techniques et les autres groupes de l'organisation, en veillant a ce que toutes les ressources necessaires et les solutions soient en place. Soutenir les equipes commerciales et techniques en leur fournissant des conseils, des echanges d'informations et une formation sur les meilleures pratiques operationnelles. Repondre aux questions liees aux instruments, aux installations, a la facturation et a l'inventaire, tout en attenuant les impacts financiers potentiels. Gerer les processus d'escalade des plaintes et superviser les actions correctives, preventives et d'amelioration. Gerer les previsions des besoins en instruments et soumettre des previsions mensuelles des installations aux equipes mondiales. Gerer les commandes de produits aupres des fournisseurs, resoudre les problemes tels que les ruptures de stock et superviser la gestion, le retour ou la destruction des instruments usages pour optimiser les couts de stockage. Superviser et maintenir la base de donnees des instruments tout en developpant et en maintenant les processus operationnels pour la logistique, les installations et les desinstallations.

Qui vous etes



Vous detenez un DEC / Diplome d'Etudes Collegiales ou un baccalaureat. Vous avez 5 a 7 ans d'experience en gestion de materiel ou en soutien aux services. Vous possedez une pensee tactique et une capacite d'influence. Vous gerez les priorites avec un fort sens de l'urgence, un esprit d'affaires developpe, de solides competences organisationnelles et la capacite d'adopter le changement. Vous avez de solides competences analytiques. Vous maitrisez les applications MS Office (connaissance avancee d'Excel) et SAP. La certification APICS (CPIM ou CSCP) est un atout. Une certification en amelioration continue est un atout. Dans ce poste, vous serez en contact avec des collegues dans tout le Canada. Par consequent, un niveau d'anglais suffisant est requis et la maitrise du francais est requise.
