for our Oshawa locations.
Non-Negotiable Requirement:
All applicants MUST have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to drive.
This role includes travel between our Oshawa centers and client homes.

Position Summary
Our Autism Services team is dedicated to supporting children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through individualized, evidence-based care. Services are delivered using a combination of one-to-one and small group instruction, guided by the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). We take a family-centered approach, focusing on each child's unique strengths and needs to help them develop essential skills.
As an Instructor Therapist, you will implement ABA programs that include skill acquisition, behaviour management, communication, social, play, and life skills development. You will interact with families, create teaching materials and track client progress through data collection and monitoring.
Evening or weekend availability may be required depending on client needs.
Key Responsibilities Client Services
Deliver ABA programming through 1:1 and small group sessions
Teach communication, social, play, life skills, and self-regulation skills
Support behaviour reduction and skill acquisition
Prepare individualized teaching materials
Collaborate with families and participate in parent coaching
Assist with toileting and self-help routines
Maintain consistent scheduling with families
Data Collection & Program Review
Conduct curriculum/behaviour assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS, AFLS, etc.)
Collect, track, and graph daily data
Monitor progress and identify needed program changes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical notes
Administrative Duties
Maintain clinical binders and client documentation
Prepare datasheets and update program materials
Attend supervision sessions, meetings, and agency initiatives
Communicate professionally with the clinical team
Qualifications
Diploma/degree in Behavioural Science, ABA, Psychology, Child & Youth Work, Developmental Services, Early Childhood Education, or related field
Students currently enrolled in related programs may be considered
Experience delivering ABA-based programming is an asset
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
Ability to work well independently and within a team
Knowledge of cultural diversity or additional languages is an asset
Other Requirements
Access to a car and full drivers license.
Clear Vulnerable Sector Screening
CPR/First Aid certification
Access to a computer and smartphone
Adherence to CPBAO, BACB and ONTABA ethical guidelines
Ability to lift/move up to 35 lbs, sit on the floor, walk/run at a fast pace, and keep up with active children
