Position Summary:




Woodview's Brantford Autism Services is currently seeking a qualified, skilled and experienced individual to deliver Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) based services both in-centre and community as part of our Brantford Autism Services team.

Job Responsibilities (may Include But Are Not Limited To):

Instructor Therapists work one-to-one and in small groups with children and youth with autism. Service hours are generally Monday to Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm with evening shifts from 5-8pm and Saturday 8:30am-12:30pm as required. Working as a part of a team, the Instructor Therapist is responsible for implementing programs under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor and/or Senior Therapist. The Instructor Therapist is responsible for keeping accurate data, graphing, and for preparing and creating materials for clients. The Instructor Therapist will provide quality and supportive programming, in addition to contributing to a positive and team-based working environment. The Instructor Therapist position will be available to cover sessions for vacation and staff illness in addition to regularly scheduled sessions each week. The Instructor Therapist may support Woodview Mental Health Day Treatment and Respite programs as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license in addition to insurance on your vehicle to transport clients is a requirement.

Knowledge of the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis obtained by completion of the Autism and Behavioural Sciences certificate or equivalent Minimum 6 months practical/applied experience in the field of ABA. Professional experience working with children with autism.

Additional Qualifications:

Practical experience in collecting, graphing and analyzing data. Current certification in first aid, CPR, non-violent crisis prevention intervention (NVCI) is an asset. Experience providing parent coaching; running groups is an asset. French as second language is considered as an asset
