What We Do

We provide services to individuals ranging from age 18 months to adults using approaches grounded in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) including IBI, ESDM and ACT.

Momentum Autism Services Inc. is looking for an Instructor Therapist to join our team providing ABA services in our clients' homes and communities in Niagara region and surrounding areas. Job Responsibilities

Prepare and organize teaching environment and materials

Follow prescribed programs as written and document session notes

Collect and graph data to be used in program evaluation

Conduct assessments as prescribed

Collaborate with Senior Therapists and Clinical Supervisors for program planning and supervision

Participate in team meetings

Facilitate Parent Coaching and community integration goals

Train students and new staff as requested

Skills and Knowledge

Experience implementing ABA therapy with children and/or young adults with autism is an asset

Accept and incorporate feedback willingly

Ability to work independently and in collaborative teams

Demonstrate strong organization skills

Exhibit strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills

Superior oral and written communication skills

Ability to work in multiple environments and adapt easily

Ability to professionally consult with families and community members

Ability to work in a fast-paced evolving work environment

Education and Experience

Diploma/Certificate in Autism and Behavioural Sciences or Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) certification (preferred)

Minimum 1 year experience implementing ABA programs (required)

Standard First Aid & CPR (required)

Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (required)

Driver's license and reliable vehicle (Must have)

PECS training considered an asset

Crisis Management certification an asset

Experience conducting curriculum assessments considered an asset
