Job Title:Instructor - Supply Chain Management & Logistics

Job Type: Part-Time, Contractor

Location: Remote

Hours: 20 hours/week

Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced part-time instructor to teach our Supply Chain Management & Logistics Diploma program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, coupled with a passion for teaching and helping students achieve their career goals.

Schedule:

Fixed-Flex with some fixed availability during the week. May be required to come on campus, on an occasional basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and interactive lessons, including high quality pre-recorded lectures, in Supply Chain Management. Utilize Brightspace D2L to manage course materials, assignments, quizzes and student assessments. Develop and update course content to ensure it aligns with industry standards and program objectives. Maintain consistent contact with students, including providing timely and constructive feedback to support their academic progress. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students. Collaborate with the program coordinator and other faculty members to ensure the continuous improvement of the program. Uphold academic integrity and institutional policies.

Qualifications:

A degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in Supply Chain Management. Proof of at least 1 year of instructional experience OR a training certificate in adult education. Experience teaching or training in Brightspace D2L is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. A commitment to student success and professional growth.

Preferred Candidate:

Experience working in a post-secondary or adult education environment. Familiarity with current trends and best practices in Supply Chain Management.
