Northlands College is seeking an Instructor for our Mineral Exploration Techniques Program. Candidates will have a Bachelor of Science. The term is from August 06, 2024 to June 27, 2025.
The Instructor will provide lecture, lab, and field instruction to learners; keep inventory of equipment; organize and supervise learner field trips; and participate in course material development. Course expertise is required in the following areas:
- Introduction to Mineral Exploration
- Introduction to Geology and Geomorphology
- Mathematics
- Geophysics and Geo Chemistry
- Sampling Methods
- Communications
- Sampling Methods and Protocols
- Introduction to GIS Applications
- Mineral Exploration Best Practices
