Required Qualifications

• Journeyperson Electrician status
• Interprovincial Red Seal designation required
• Minimum 5 years\' post-journeyperson experience in an industrial and/or commercial environment
• Instruction and mentoring experience will all be considered
• Must be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and motivation skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in instructing in adult education
• Instrumentation certification is considered an asset
• Adult Education certification is considered an asset

Core functions of the role:

The instructor at Keyano College will be in a learning environment with the students, focusing on:

• Curriculum delivery, development and review.
• Preparation for instruction.
• Instruction in classroom and lab/shop and work experience settings.
• Student consultation and advisement.
• Supervision, classroom management and evaluation of students.

Advertised Salary Faculty salary range is $74,401.93 to $122,319.47 per annum. Placement on the salary grid is reflective upon educational and experiential qualifications. Keyano College also offers an attractive health and benefits package.
