ABOUT THE ROLE

AOLCC Lawrence Campus is currently seeking a qualified and passionate Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) Instructor to deliver in-person instruction to adult learners enrolled in our ECA program.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver ECA program curriculum in accordance with approved program standards and Ministry requirements Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging adult learning environment Mentor, coach, and support students throughout their academic journey Assess student performance, maintain attendance and grades, and provide timely feedback Ensure instruction aligns with entry-to-practice and industry expectations Participate in academic meetings and collaborate with campus teams Uphold the professional and ethical standards of AOLCC
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (MANDATORY)

Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) from a recognized Canadian institution Minimum five (5) years of current working experience in Canada as an Early Childhood Educator Current membership in the provincial association for Early Childhood Educators Must meet the instructor qualification standards set by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities
ADDITIONAL ASSETS

Experience teaching adult learners Previous post-secondary teaching experience Strong communication and classroom management skills
INTERNATIONAL CREDENTIALS

Applicants with credentials obtained outside Canada must provide translated credentials and a credential equivalency assessment (e.g., WES). Canadian work experience and provincial membership requirements remain mandatory.
