Lakeland College is hiring an instructor to develop and deliver curriculum in our Crop Technology program.

Key Responsibilities

Development and delivery of curriculum in courses such as Plant Science & Field Crops, Soil Sciences, Integrated Crop Management and Grain Harvesting Instructing and advising students in the Crop Technology program and working in coordination with the farm staff for successful delivery of our Student Managed Farm capstone course in crop research as well as the practicum course Classroom, lab, and field trip instruction, preparation and marking of assignments and exams, as well as participation in program and department meetings

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture/Agribusiness or a closely related field with industry experience and knowledge Ability to lead and motivate others while being committed to collaboration, effective goal setting and evaluation, and professional accountability Experience in the crop input, retail or equipment industries as they relate to crop production Demonstrates a passion for the agriculture industry and for agriculture education Ability to communicate effectively with refined presentation and facilitation skills Knowledge and experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

This is a Sessional Full-time Faculty appointment on the Vermilion campus commencing August 5, 2025. Lakeland College offers an attractive remuneration and benefit package.
