Budget Blinds is the largest window coverings retailer in North America. Currently, one of the largest franchise locations; Budget Blinds of Comox Valley is seeking an ambitious, highly motivated individual to join our growing team.

You've likely never considered "window coverings installer" as a career but is a great opportunity. Allows working out of the rain and hot sun, you don't have to schlep boards, climb roofs or mow lawns all day. Instead, you get to meet new people and do something truly different every day. This is not a construction job but you will use a wide array of tools and you get to work with your hands. Working to complete a clients home with care and attention to detail and bring their decorating dreams to life.

Installing window coverings is harder than people think. You need excellent problem solving skills, as most openings aren't square, all mounting surfaces are not equal and every type of window covering is installed differently. It takes patience and a willingness to learn. Finding the best solution for the job requires thought and attention to detail. You will be required to work hard, work quickly and think critically and leave the clients home having done a good job that we can be proud to put our business' reputation of excellence on. You are the final point of the customer's experience with us.

You must be good with people and have a calm demeanour and be able to deal with customers, in their homes, in a respectful pleasant manner.
