Professionalism in customer service Document and prepare invoices and work orders Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies Utilize hand and power tools Measure and lay out reference points for installation Keep detailed notes of all actions, positions and camera angles, and photograph and date scenes Install surface mount and/or overhead cables Confer with clients and other members of the engineering team and conduct research to determine project requirements Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments Meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
