We're expanding quickly across residential, commercial, and agricultural projects and are looking for a
certified Journeyperson Electrician with solar experience, leadership skills, and strong technical ability
to join our Edmonton team.
What You'll Do
You'll lead and work alongside our installation crews to complete residential, commercial, and agricultural solar projects to Greenamp's high standards of safety and quality.
Lead, train, and supervise solar installation crews
Install, maintain, and commission AC/DC systems and solar monitoring equipment
Perform panel upgrades, meter changes, and service improvements
Read and interpret blueprints, single-line diagrams, and schematics
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical or communications issues
Use laptops and software for job tracking, commissioning, and reporting
Work safely on rooftops and lift up to 50 lbs as required
Follow all company processes, policies, and safety procedures
You're a Great Fit If You Have
Journeyperson Electrician certification (Alberta)
Minimum 2 years of hands-on solar installation experience
(residential and/or commercial)
Proven experience running or supervising installation crews
Strong understanding of electrical schematics, solar interconnections, and CEC standards
Proficiency with computers and software tools for job documentation and system setup
Ability to work independently, think critically, and follow company processes
Familiarity with SolarEdge, APsystems, Tesla, or Solis products is an asset
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
Valid Driver's License and ability to travel occasionally
Physically capable of rooftop work and lifting up to 50 lbs
Red Seal Certification is an asset

Pay: $36.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
