Established in 2025 by Trivest Partners, a private equity firm, Sentinel was formed through the acquisition of the following regional service providers: Lenworth Building Services, Pro Door & Dock Systems, Mar-Lin Dock & Door, Door Doctor and Secord Docks. These companies specialize in the installation, repair, and maintenance of overhead doors, dock levelers, and related equipment for commercial and industrial facilities.

is looking for anexperienced

Installation Technician

responsible for the installation, removal, and testing of various dock and door equipment. This role ensures proper functionality by installing new equipment, safely removing existing units, and conducting thorough connection tests to confirm optimal performance.



Regular Working Hours

: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM



Responsibilities:





The installation of overhead doors, rolling steel, high speed doors, truck restraints, shelters, seals and related equipment at various customer locations. Support completion of required documentation and ensure all paperwork is accurate and submitted promptly. Maintain site cleanliness, ensuring all debris and refuse generated during installations are properly removed. Manage tools and equipment, including retrieving and returning items to the service vehicle, performing daily cleaning and inspections to confirm they are in good working order. Keep service vehicle clean and presentable, both inside and out. Comply with all company health and safety policies and procedures at all times. Adhere to company policies and procedures consistently. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:





2+ years Lead installer experience and servicing, industry door equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude with proven ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components Proficient in the safe and effective use of tools, power equipment, and diagnostic instruments Solid understanding of industry standards, safety protocols, and preventive maintenance practices Excellent communication skills verbally, written, and interpersonal with the ability to work collaboratively and professionally with clients and team members Highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scissor lifts, or similar equipment Physically capable of heavy lifting and demanding tasks Possess a valid driver's license in good standing

Compensation

: $35/hour ~ $45/hour dependent on experience and qualifications
