Job Description

The East Portage Dock Company is looking for dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team installing custom steel pile swim docks, and structural docks for boatports and boathouses.

We are located in Port Carling, and operate throughout the entire Muskoka region.

Main responsibilities would include job and material preparation, on-site installation of structural steel, site clean up, and various other general tasks as required.

Available positions are for full time hours, year-round, Monday through Friday.

Requirements:

Proficient math skills and ability to work from plans Safe operation of hand and power tools Strong communication skills and a positive, team-player attitude Flexibility to work both independently, and with a partner or team Able to perform various physical activities, be strong and hardworking Willingness to work outdoors in all weather, year round, over water and ice Valid driver's license and reliable transportation throughout Muskoka is a must-have
Assets Include (but are not Limited to):

Experience with metal cutting, fitting and welding Both small and heavy equipment operating experience and training Carpentry experience Boaters license and/or experience operating work boats/barges
Competitive wages offered, based on experience and qualifications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.27-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 44 per week
