Perform visual and dimensional inspection on individual parts as specified in OEM instructions.
Position Accountabilities
- Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspection of individual parts.
- Determine disposition of parts i.e. Serviceable, Unserviceable or Repairable.
- Perform minor rework/blending of parts.
- Coordinate with Engineering.
- Document all findings.
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Post-Secondary training/experience in a technical field would be an asset.
- Ability to use basic hand tools.
- Ability to use and care for precision measuring and torquing devices.
- General computer knowledge
An individual in this capacity must be aware that the position will involve:
- Must be willing to walk to various areas throughout the facility throughout the day.
- Extended period of time at an individual workstation.
