Our Asset Integrity Management (AIM) division in St. John\'s, NL is now looking for an Inspection Services Manager to join the Team. The successful candidate will be the Technical Authority on all inspection services contracts, with overall responsibility for ensuring the efficient delivery of AIM Services.

What will you be doing?

• Monitor contracts carried out by operational departments to ensure compliance and maximize profitability and meeting targets;
• Actively involved in the business development / marketing activities, including developing new client base and preparation of proposals;
• Ensure inspection services are in line with company standards to ensure optimal performance and assure compliance with corporate policies, client specifications and regulatory requirements;
• Continuously evaluate new and advanced technology possibilities and services;
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and company requirements relating to the control, correct use and transportation of radioactive substances and equipment capable of producing ionizing radiation;
• Establish and develop strategic partnerships aligned with business strategy and goals;
• Coordinate with technical leads to ensure sufficient staffing, identification of personal training and development of competencies to meet required capability for scope execution;
• Responsible for managing team resources, including staffing, training , and performance management and development;
• Identify and implement improvement processes and cost effective solutions to continuously improve performance;
• Demonstrate safety leadership and ensure that all HSE concerns are closed out prior to working starting, ensure all project incidents are fully reported, investigated, and corrective actions are implemented.

We think you should have:

• Bachelors degree or technical diploma in a related discipline, or a combination of education and related experience;
• Minimum 10 years\' experience in oil and gas, mining or related industrial field with demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility and authority;
• Level III certification in all disciplines of Non-Destructive Testing in accordance with CAN/CGSB-48.9712-2014, or equivalent standard;
• Level III certification to CSA W 178.2, or equivalent standard;
• Certification as a Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission Certified Exposure Device Operator;
• Familiar with the processes and procedures applicable to an ISO 9000 environment;
• Ability to work under pressure in an environment that expects the highest level of customer service, confidentiality and ethical behaviour.
• API 510 and/or API 570 certification.
