Insolvency Lawyer

What You'll Be Doing

Advising clients on all aspects of bankruptcy, insolvency, restructuring, and creditor rights.

Acting for a range of stakeholders including lenders, trustees, receivers, and debtors.

Handling files involving bankruptcies, receiverships, proposals, CCAA restructurings, and enforcement matters.

Managing debt recovery and collection matters for financial institutions and other creditors.

Representing clients in court on motions, applications, and other proceedings.

Negotiating and drafting a variety of insolvency-related agreements and court documents.

Collaborating with colleagues in related practice areas to deliver integrated legal solutions.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience

in insolvency, restructuring, and debt enforcement.

Strong litigation, negotiation, and advocacy skills.

Excellent professional and academic credentials.

Ability to manage complex files independently and efficiently.

Strong interpersonal and client service skills.

An entrepreneurial mindset and desire to contribute to business development.

Willingness to attend at our Toronto office

at least 4 days per week
