Shelley Automation Inc. is a leader in providing cutting edge automation products and solutions. We are looking for a candidate in our Markham office location to assist our current and potential markets with support of our products and applications. This is a customer service role where you will be directly involved with the customer.
This position will play a pivotal role in sales and pre-sales process, as the first point of interaction between customers and Shelley Automation. This person will handle the placement of orders, providing quotes and any other customer queries. Duties will also include order expediting, maintaining open order reports, and working with shipping to pick and process rush orders.
Responsibilities:
Assist in all customer service issues and ensure effective problem resolution
Assist in the order entry and tracking process for all orders
Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to the customer as necessary.
Assist with ins ide sales tasks to grow business in the territory.
Responsible for maintaining effective customer service for all calling customers
Expedient and effective written responses to customer service emails
Communicate clearly with, and provide effective direction to the warehouse
Provide immediate feedback to the department manager or Account Manager as needed regarding service failures or customer concerns
In-depth knowledge of company products and programs
Navigate system back end to access client and order information
Communicate and follow up with warehouses regarding returns/refunds
All other duties as assigned
Skills Required:
Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Knowledge in Pneumatics is an asset
Problem analysis and problem resolution at a functional level
Strong customer orientation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in Computer and Math skills
Education and Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in an engineering field such as Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical.
1-3 years of customer service experience is preferred
