Job Description

JOEL Theatrical Rigging, Canada's leading theatrical rigging supplier, is looking for an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative to join our established and expanding company based in Mississauga, Ontario. The Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative, will act as a liaison, provide product/services information, answer questions, and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. This is a pivotal position and is responsible for a variety of job functions. We support a specialized industry, so we are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is hardworking, reliable, and willing to learn!

Schedule and Hourly Rate



This is a full-time position for a guaranteed 40 work hours/week. Salary is dependent upon experience.

Assets and Areas of Expertise



Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and QuickBooks

Strong communication and excellent customer service skills

Above average organization with flexibility to adapt to different changes with the ability to multitask

Excels in an ever changing and fast-paced environment, embracing a diversity of tasks and projects.

Able to learn quickly and maintain a high-level of product knowledge

Knowledge of theatre equipment (Rigging, Stage Dressing, Curtains, and Risers) An Asset but willing to learn is a priority as we will provide training

Experience in technical theatre or live entertainment an asset

Key Responsibilities



Answering incoming product inquiries and sales requests by phone and email

Responsible for product knowledge to answer customer questions

Process sales transactions from start to finish by providing customer with quote, verifying stock, advising of delivery, ordering, preparing and shipping orders.

Liaise between customers, sales representatives, and administration

Leading with a positive and flexible attitude, takes initiative to seek out new tasks

Effectively communicate order status with clients and project managers. Proactively work to resolve potential issues and promote high level of clients' satisfaction

Learning about JOEL projects and researching required information to better assist the team and customers

Requirements/Qualifications



Experience in sales / marketing, or related field is preferred. Proven sales experience with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience

Exceptional customer service skills together with effective communication skills

Able to work well independently, and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Self-starter, takes initiative to work efficiently and seek out new tasks

Proven success in prospecting and selling by phone; ability to uncover customer needs and challenges and to propose solutions and products to meet those needs

A valid Ontario Driver's License (G Class preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
