Main Responsibilities:

Answer customer inquiries for quote requests and process orders in a timely manner

Answer and direct all incoming calls

Forward emails to appropriate people from general email address

Process web orders

Provide order confirmation and status updates for backordered items

Process credit card payments

Basic troubleshooting to assist customers in determining if a replacement part is required

Process customer quotes and orders and issue customer order confirmations

Requisition items for purchase in order to maintain stock levels and fill backorders

Monitor and maintain inventory levels

Process and issue purchase orders

Pick and verify orders for shipper / receiver

Assist in various duties in the office with regards to administration or shipping / receiving

Skills & Requirements:

Highly developed organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task

Excellent interpersonal and client service skills and ability to communicate professionally with employees and customers/vendors

Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail

Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to daily demands

Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently

Must have a strong working knowledge of Excel along with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Previous experience as Customer Service in an industrial office environment an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
