Our team is small but our impact is mighty! About the position: We’re growing and are looking to add an Inside Sales Representative to our team! The Inside Sales Representative will report to the Provision & Project Manager, and will be integral in the support and development of relationships with customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, a keen sense of customer satisfaction, and the ability to interact with multiple stakeholders. Secondarily, you will support processes for managing voice and data circuit orders from availability check to installation and billing. Why EGATE:

  • After successful completion of the probationary period, work from home flexibility is offered on an ad-hoc basis, and we are open to negotiating a hybrid arrangement (1-2 days remote per week).
Responsibilities:
  • Promptly acknowledge and resolve customer inquiries, requests, and complaints with precise solutions that meet or exceed their individual expectations
  • Participate in customer reviews and identify customer needs to ensure the right solutions are offered to help solve their problems.
  • Reviewing customer generated RFQs and providing proposals per the company service and pricing guidelines.
  • Assist with customer presentations and compile proposal data to expand existing lines of business.
  • Assist in developing sales plans and strategies.
  • Communicating with clients, suppliers, and internal departments
  • Acting as backup to the provisioning and order management team in dealing with vendor escalations and service availability checks
Requirements:
  • Business degree or diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional working experience with customer service and/or sales
  • Strong communication skills – written and oral
  • High-level technical product knowledge (emphasis on telecom/networking)
  • Detail-oriented coupled with strong organization skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to foresee potential issues and make sound recommendations
  • Advanced MS Office skills, with particular emphasis on Outlook and Excel
  • Able to work independently with little supervision
  • Sense of urgency, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidates require a G licence for travel to customer sites in and around the GTA (2-4 times per month).
