Position Overview
Purchasing (60%)
Purchasing activities will revolve around assisting our customer base with buyback inquiries; customers that are looking to sell back their precious metals. This is done through a combination of answering phone calls and responding to emails. You will be responsible for answering questions, providing quotes over the phone & via email, following up on any outstanding quotes, along with assisting clients with any issues or concerns they may have.
Wholesale (40%)
Wholesale activities involve assisting our wholesale customers by providing them quotes on our products and placing their orders. This is primarily done by answering phone calls and responding to quote requests via email. Additional tasks include reviewing orders to ensure they meet our payment & shipping expectations, reviewing inventory levels, prospecting for new dealers and handling any issues or concerns that arise (accounts receivable, shipping/product delays, etc.).
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Communicate effectively and professionally with our clients (both retail & wholesale) via phone and email.
Provide accurate buyback quotes to clients who are looking to sell back their precious metals. Follow all processed buyback orders to completion. Escalate any issues to management team for resolution.
Respond to wholesale RFQ's (requests for quotes), negotiate on prices and place orders. Follow all processed wholesale orders through to completion and notify clients/management of any delays, issues or concerns.
Coordinate with different departments to ensure clients are satisfied; departments such as operations, finance & payment team, shipping team, management team, etc.
Prospect for new wholesale customers by building a target list and calling potential clients
Manage client information through our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Always willing to share new ideas, point out areas of improvements, and work with team members & management team to build efficient business processes.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Ability to collaborate efficiently with multiple departments.
Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks; much of the work is fast paced and involves quick response times.
Ability to recognize and resolve issues independently and/or with assistance. Customer service focused.
Tech-savvy - Able to learn 3-5 different software programs that are needed to fulfill job duties.
Enjoys working in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
College Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in business preferred, or equivalent experience. Combination of education and experience is accepted.
2-3 years of previous experience working in a customer service or sales related role.
Bilingual (strong English skills, conversational French skills) preferred, but not required.
Demonstrated ability in following sales processes and overseeing sales transactions from start to finish.
Demonstrated ability to work well with a team and coordinate between various departments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (importantly Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
