Position Overview

As a key member of the sales support team, the Inside Sales Representative - Parts Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering a cost-effective, customer-focused experience. This position is responsible for supporting both customers and external sales representatives by efficiently handling inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of parts, tooling, and supplies. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and motivated to contribute to the company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Support

Respond to incoming customer inquiries by phone and email, fulfilling parts and supply requirements in line with customer service standards. Enter and process quotations, purchase orders, and sales orders in the company's ERP system in a timely and accurate manner. Monitor and track orders, follow up with suppliers, and update order statuses within the ERP system. Keep customers informed of order progress and respond to delivery or product inquiries. Direct machinery-related inquiries to the appropriate team member or sales representative. Support the sales team with administrative tasks and help identify machine sales leads through parts sales interactions. Maintain accurate customer and sales activity data in CRM and ERP platforms.

Qualifications and Experience

Previous experience in parts sales and customer service is essential. Industry knowledge related to machinery or industrial parts is an asset. Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics (CRM/ERP) or similar software is a plus. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. A proactive attitude and ability to take initiative. Strong time-management and multitasking skills, with a customer-first mindset. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Working Conditions

Standard business hours, with occasional work required outside regular hours. Extended periods working at a computer. Must be comfortable working in a busy, open-concept office environment. Must be able to manage multiple orders and deadlines effectively.

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
