Job Description


As part of the Sales Team, the Inside Sales Representative will develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport with potential, new and current customers, provide technical information and explanations, and prepare quotations. The Inside Sales Representative will also promote products, services or ideas by developing and overseeing marketing campaigns through social media marketing. Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Communicates with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads which may require cold calling by phone or email \xc2\xb7 Understand customer needs and identify sales opportunities \xc2\xb7 Respond to potential customers questions and send additional information as requested \xc2\xb7 Monitor and maintain product and service information and updates \xc2\xb7 Explain and demonstrate the key features and benefits of the products and services we supply \xc2\xb7 Handle quotes and orders by phone, email or mail and ensuring quotes and orders have correct prices, discounts, and payment terms \xc2\xb7 Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers \xc2\xb7 Enter all leads into the Casasanta, Canncas & LC Bakery Data Bases \xc2\xb7 Communicate with all leads in a timely manner after company information and quotes have been sent \xc2\xb7 Staying informed about competing products and services \xc2\xb7 Upselling products and services \xc2\xb7 Researching and qualifying new leads \xc2\xb7 Closing sales and achieving sales targets \xc2\xb7 Enter and track orders on the Active Job Report \xc2\xb7 Review with manufacturing any changes in orders and adjust delivery times accordingly \xc2\xb7 Coordinate and communicate with customers through the manufacturing process \xc2\xb7 Enter and track all payments from customers \xc2\xb7 Communicate with manufacturing and procurement the status of all payments so orders can be triggered in the system \xc2\xb7 Assist in the development and launch of all Social Media Marketing Initiatives \xc2\xb7 Manage and post on the defined schedule set by management and communicate with all potential leads \xc2\xb7 Use and track social media analytics and review with management any trends that could benefit the company \xc2\xb7 Adhere to all company policies and procedure \xc2\xb7 Perform any other duties that may be superficially or generally assigned Additional Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Ability to work with minimum supervision and initiate actions within the scope of authority \xc2\xb7 Maintains standards of confidentiality with respect to private information \xc2\xb7 Prioritize assignments according to deadlines \xc2\xb7 Ensure a positive and professional attitude while working with your peers \xc2\xb7 Available to work additional hours when required Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Post Secondary Education in Sales, Marketing or Business
  • Certified Sales Professional (CSP) Designation is an asset
  • Minimum two (2) years relevant work experience
  • Advance capability in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) and CRM software
  • Previous experience in social media marketing and analytics
  • Excellent communication skills, listening, verbal and written
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure while learning and adapting in a fast-paced environment
