About the Position:



Sobotec is seeking an

Inside Sales Representative

with intermediate to senior experience and proven success in an inside sales capacity within the building envelope, construction industry. The successful candidate will lead inbound sales opportunities and work with both existing accounts and in developing new client requests. To qualify for this role, you must have proven experience developing new business sales within strategic and key accounts, successful lead follow-up and generation abilities, and being able to work in concert with our Sr. Field Sales reps and estimating team.

Qualifications



5+ years experience in an inside sales capacity Proven history of targeting and developing business for strategic accounts and large key accounts Demonstrated ability to qualify opportunities and to learn about accounts and where future opportunities may exist. Outgoing personality with excellent conversational and problem-solving skills Confidence and hunger for seeking new opportunities to help clients and develop new relationships Proven solution sales skills within a B2B environment via complex sales cycles Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with executive level contacts Skilled with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite and Web Conferencing tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a broader sales team Strong technical acumen and ability to read architectural drawings and specifications Preference will be given to those with experience in commercial construction and large construction projects industries.

Responsibilities



Inbound leads and inquiry response Qualifying new opportunities to the company standards, understand customer needs and gather client intelligence Act as the primary point of contact for assigned strategic and large accounts, ensuring outstanding service and proactive communications Management of the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, lead response, qualification and needs analysis, solution education and presentation, opportunity advancement, negotiation, deal closure and client transition to Project Management Build strong relationships with stakeholders including influencers and decision makers using with genuine interest and enthusiasm Develop account plans and strategies tailored to each client, with emphasis on maximizing revenue and expanding product adoption Collaboration and support with Sr. Field Sales and Technical Teams, ensuring we work together as a team to present the most compelling solutions to our future clients Maintaining accurate records including sales forecasts, client communications, pipeline status and next steps within the company's CRM Support and execute cross-sell initiatives to drive additional revenue from existing accounts Monitor account health, resolving client inquires and challenges quickly, and serving as a liaison between the customer and other departments within the company Regular reporting and transparency of account insights, industry trends and competitive intelligence to management

Most of your work will be done from our office utilizing email, telephone and web conferencing methods to communicate with our clients, however, travel to see clients in person will need to happen from time-to-time. Some travel required - must have a passport, driver's license and be able to travel within Canada and the USA.
