Description

The incumbent is responsible for promoting iA Investment products and services to Independent Financial Advisors in Alberta, as well as helping build effective business relationships with the advisors, business development managers and administration staff of the MGA offices.

Sales Development Activities:

Deliver training to advisors on iA segregated funds products, GICs, sales concepts and software. Training can be delivered face-to-face or in virtual mode

Work in close collaboration with the Regional Sales Director in developing a Marketing Plan for the region, particularly for the delivery of product and software knowledge to advisors

Use your in-depth knowledge of our products and the investment industry in general, along with your interpersonal skills to increase sales and retain assets

Run marketing campaigns by soliciting advisors by telephone or emails

Create and revise presentations using Power Point software

Respond to inquiries through telephone, email, written correspondence, or in person, in a timely and professional manner

Attend some planned conferences, road shows, presentations, and organized events

Positions Qualifications:

Bachelor 's Degree or College Diploma

2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably with an Insurance or mutual firm, or at a bank

Strong presentation and public speaking skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of advisors

Ability to influence and motivate our business partners.

Excellent organization and planning skills with a strong ability to meet tight deadlines

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
