Department: Savings and Retirement
Term: Permanent Full-Time
Location: British Columbia
Salary: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per annumWork Arrangements: You will work from your home office 100% of the time. You may be required to be in-person at our office in Waterloo, ON or another assigned location within the Waterloo Region, on an as needed basis.   • Conduct sales and provide support for new business for key advisors
  • Generate leads and create new contacts and relationships
  • Create advisor loyalty and trust via constant communication
  • Build and promote product knowledge via webinars
  • Respond to product related inquiries
  • Act a point of contact for Equitable partners
  • Create specialized and monthly status reports
  • Occasional travel may be required
What you will bring:
  • Relevant experience in the financial industry with a solid understanding of investment products
  • Demonstrated analytical, time-management, problem solving, negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Proven communication skills, including active listening and the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated presentation and training skills
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and evolving priorities
  • Experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams. With the ability to learn and apply new system applications (including BMS and web portals).
  • Bilingual in French or Mandarin and English is considered an asset
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as required.
