Tasks

Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment Weigh resins, colorants and other chemicals according to formulae Operate mixing machine to blend plastic and other chemicals to a specific consistency and viscosity Supervisory Experience Set up and operate one or more moulding machines to mould plastic products Prepare and change moulds and adjust equipment for production line change Follow formulation card to mix resin batches for injection moulding process Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines Prepare raw materials for mixing process Ensure health and safety regulations are followed Determine nature, cause and location of trouble Check products for quality and other specifications Assist in routine maintenance and repair of equipment Start up and shut down machinery and equipment Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Make adjustments necessary to ensure the smooth running of processes
