We are hiring an
Injection Molding Technician
who will be responsible for ensuring the efficient setup, operation, and maintenance of injection molding equipment to produce high-quality parts consistently and safely. The role supports daily production by maintaining optimal machine performance, addressing process issues, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Machine Setup & Operation
Set up, operate, and adjust injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
Install and remove molds and tooling as per production requirements.
Monitor machine parameters, cycles, and material flow to ensure consistent part quality.
2. Quality & Inspection
Inspect molded parts for defects and dimensional accuracy.
Perform in-process quality checks and document results.
Troubleshoot common molding issues (flash, short shots, burns, deformation).
3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on machines and molds.
Identify and resolve minor mechanical or process issues.
Escalate major equipment concerns to maintenance or engineering.
4. Material Handling
Prepare and load raw materials, ensure proper drying and color changes.
Maintain material traceability and prevent contamination.
Safety & Documentation
Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout.
Maintain accurate production records and process logs.
