Job Description


The role of a Senior Communications Designer is to manage our media planning product through preparing and presenting media plans, proposals, and analysis.

This role requires you to work as part of an integrated media planning team to ensure the product is grounded in insights and experience, resulting in flawless media executions.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, write and present integrated media plans, proposals and analysis that satisfy client objectives and that go beyond the brief.

\xc2\xb7 Prepare and present evaluations of media opportunities, media trends and issues of interest to clients.

\xc2\xb7 Effectively manage ongoing client expectations in regards to work back schedule, and deadlines.

\xc2\xb7 Develop ability to effectively manage client conversations and expectations.

\xc2\xb7 Remain up-to-date with latest updates from major media partners.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure that all media plans adhere to the agency\'s values, philosophies and processes.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain the media plan and regularly evaluate campaign performance.

\xc2\xb7 Build and maintain strong client relationships and respectful partner relationships by demonstrating your ability to be responsible, reliable, and resourceful.

\xc2\xb7 Initiate and coordinate the media buying process that deliver exceptional results.

\xc2\xb7 Oversee the administration and maintenance of media buys.

\xc2\xb7 Assist with training junior employees on tools and processes.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure client budgets are managed and on track.

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for accurate and timely client finance reports and budget control reports (BCRs).

\xc2\xb7 Support the creation of campaign post reports.

\xc2\xb7 Prepare media Point of View (POVs)/evaluations.

\xc2\xb7 Source and evaluate proposals from media partners as required.

\xc2\xb7 Continue to proactively develop knowledge of the media landscape.

Desired Skills & Experience

Professional or educational background in Marketing and/or Advertising would give leverage to this application

\xc2\xb7 Mid-Senior level of experience in integrated media planning.

\xc2\xb7 Experience within an integrated advertising agency.

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of media research tools (e.g. Clear Decisions, Vividata, Neilson), and media tools (e.g. Prisma) will give leverage to this application

\xc2\xb7 Client service oriented.

\xc2\xb7 Curiosity, with a passion for continuous development.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

\xc2\xb7 Highly developed organizational skills with a strong attention to detail accuracy.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent ability to manage and prioritize time effectively.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.

\xc2\xb7 Proactive approach to problem solving, assisting the team, self-development, etc.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to develop and foster relationships with media partners.

\xc2\xb7 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
