The Global Headquarters of Freshslice Pizza is seeking an in-house litigation lawyer to work on a broad range of litigation matters focusing mostly on Franchising law. We are seeking an experienced candidate with a minimum of 2 years of litigation experience including 2 years of relevant experience in contract law. Candidates should have excellent research and writing skills and thrive in a collaborative environment and must be familiar with all aspects of Canadian Franchise Disclosure Documents and Franchise Agreements and how they relate to provincial Supreme Court civil procedural rules and practices. Candidates have excellent communication (verbal and written), strong business acumen, problem-solving skills and legal judgment; must have exceptional organizational skills and successfully achieve deadline-driven results that effectively achieve business objectives; proven ability to be open to change and agile in a dynamic environment; strong sense of urgency; proactive self-starter with a willingness and ability to alternatively assume \'first chair\' legal role in the negotiation, preparation and review of a wide range of franchise-related litigation matters. Also, have a willingness and desire to learn and understand the Company\'s various business departments and drive results; be a solid team player with strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to collaborate and deal effectively with others, including senior management, peers, and support staff. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. Base salary starts at $140,000 plus a bonus potential of up to an additional $80,000.
