Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) . The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and demonstrate the ability to provide high-quality nursing services in home care environments.

The LPN will look after a 4 year old boy with a tracheostomy and feeding tube.

We are looking for day time or evening hours. Minimum 2 hours a day up to 10 hours a day. But a max of 15 hours a week.

Must be comfortable with a none verbal but mobile medical complex child.

We have no pets in the home and he is an only child.

Duties

Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to parents or physician. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families about health management, medication administration, and treatment options. Participate in case management and coordinate care for patients with complex needs. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures within the healthcare facility. Provide support in specialized areas such as pediatrics, hospice care, and pain management.

Experience

Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas:

Nursing home or assisted living facilities Hospital settings with acute care experience Home care services providing direct patient support Familiarity with medical terminology and laboratory procedures Phlebotomy skills for blood draws and specimen collection Experience working with children.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $28.20 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
