En tant que membre d'une equipe multidisciplinaire, l'ingenieur en reseaux de puissance participera a la recherche, a la conception, au prototypage, a la validation et a la documentation des nouvelles fonctionnalites des solutions logicielles d'analyse de reseaux electriques de CYME.
Principales fonctions:
Concoit des fonctionnalites logicielles complexes en ingenierie des reseaux de puissance par le developpement d'algorithmes et de methodes de calculs.
Participe a toutes les etapes de developpement des nouvelles fonctionnalites logicielles: l'analyse des specifications, la recherche et le prototypage, la redaction de la conception, le support des developpeurs logiciels lors de l'implementation, la validation et la redaction de la documentation utilisateur.
Collabore avec les developpeurs logiciels pendant les differentes phases du developpement.
Collabore avec l'equipe d'assurance qualite pour identifier des lacunes au niveau de la qualite des produits, et pour l'automatisation de la validation.
Fourni un support technique 2e niveau pour les utilisateurs.
Fourni de l'expertise en analyse des reseaux de puissance lors du developpement de nouvelles fonctionnalites logicielles, et lors de projets clients personnalises.

Diplome d'etudes universitaire en genie electrique ou l'equivalent d'un etablissement agree pour decembre 2025.
Posseder des competences en francais et anglais pour communiquer avec des collegues, client, et partenaires en dehors du Quebec, ainsi que comprendre la documentation technique du domaine.
Etre legalement autorise a travailler au Canada sans parrainage de l'entreprise maintenant et dans le futur.

Eaton's CYME International T&D is a world-class Power Engineering Solutions provider with an established reputation for customer responsiveness and technical expertise. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the power systems engineer will participate in the research, design, prototyping, testing, and documentation of new features for the CYME power engineering software solutions.
Essential Responsibilities:
Designs complex power systems product features by the development of algorithms and calculation methods.
Participates in all new product development phases: specification analysis, research and prototype, design documentation, support software development team during implementation, testing and user documentation.
Collaborates with the software developers' team during the development cycle.
Collaborates with the quality assurance team to identify software quality gaps and for testing automation.
Provides 2nd level technical support for users.
Provides power systems expertise in new product development and in custom solutions projects.

Required Qualifications:
University degree in electrical engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution by December 2025.
Fluency in French and English is required for this position to communicate with colleagues, customers, and partners located inside and outside of Quebec, as well as to understand technical documentation in the field of our industry.
Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future.
No relocation assistance provided. Candidates must live within an 80-kilometer radius of the Brossard facility.
Preferred Qualifications:
University graduate degree in electrical engineering.
University degree from the Institute of Electrical Power Engineering (IEPE).
