Summary L'ingenieur Methode Outillage sera responsable pour l'organisation du synoptique du projet. Cela signifie qu'il sera charge de collecter les informations du site, du centre d'excellence (CoE) et du chef de projet ingenierie afin de definir les outils de montage et de maintenance selon la procedure appropriee. Il sera amene a realiser certaines conceptions et notes de calcul pour les outillages qu'il a aide a definir, en suivant un processus de conception structure.
Tooling method engineer will take the responsibility on project to organize the synopsis task. It means he will be in charge to collect the information from site, COE, SI, in order to imagine the tools to do the erection and maintenance operation according to the relevant procedure. He will have to perform some design and calculation notes for some of the tooling he will have defined by following a structured design process.

Responsabilites
Au sein du Centre d'excellence mondial en hydromecanique et outillage, l'ingenieur Methodes Outillage sera responsable de projets pour tous les sujets lies aux methodes :
Collecte des informations du site / chef de projet Ingenierie / logistique / COE pour preparer le synoptique.
Concevoir les notices de montage et de maintenance selon la procedure (effectuee par l'equipe du site) en utilisant autant que possible les outils standards et selon les regles EHS.
Concevoir avec l'aide du COE tooling, le design des outils specifiques.
Identifier les besoins d'acces sur nos machines.
Identifier le besoin d'un emballage specifique et le specifier.
Implication dans l'elaboration du plan et de la note de calcul de l'arrimage.
Implication dans l'elaboration du plan de levage.
Saisir la nomenclature synoptique dans le systeme de RPLM GE.
Suivre les delais et le budget associes au synoptique.
Participer, si necessaire, aux revues de conception de l'outillage ou de la piece elle-meme, afin de respecter les exigences de l'outillage.
Etre en relation reguliere avec le site pour toute question et support.
Coordonner le synoptique avec le sous-traitant ou le technicien.
Identifier les outils standards sur le marche.
Qualifications / exigences
Baccalaureat en genie mecanique avec un minimum de 4 annees d'experience dans un poste similaire.
Une premiere experience reussie dans la conception d'equipements de levage et de plates-formes d'acces ou une experience significative sur le terrain.
Membre de l'Ordre des Ingenieurs du Quebec (OIQ), ou capacite d'obtenir un permis d'ingenieur dans un delai raisonnable.
La connaissance des produits Hydro, est un plus.
Axe sur les resultats, efficace dans l'execution du projet ; il doit etre capable de livrer les resultats dans les delais et selon les exigences du calendrier des projets.
Doit etre ouvert d'esprit, multiculturel et doit etre capable de travailler efficacement avec differentes equipes.
Anglais et francais courant ecrit et parle: L'employe(e) sera amene(e) a interagir de maniere fluide avec des collegues de nos autres installations a travers et/ou a l'exterieur du Canada, et qui sont generalement incapables de communiquer en francais et dont la langue de travail est principalement l'anglais
Maitriser les logiciels de CAO tels que Autocad, Solidworks.

Responsibilities
Within the global Hydromechanical and tooling Center of Excellence(CoE), the tooling method engineer will be responsible for all method related topics:
Collecting the information from site / Project Engineering Manager / logistics / Center of excellence to prepare the synopsis.
Imagining the erection and maintenance operation according to the procedure (done by site team) with the objective to use as much as possible standard tools and according to the EHS rules.
Designing specific tools (3D, calculation note, fabrication drawings, instruction manuals)
Identifying the need of access on our machine.
Identifying the need of specific packing and specifying it.
Preparing the lashing drawing and the lashing calculation note.
Preparing the lifting drawing.
Pushing the synopsis BOM in the GE product life management system.
Following the synopsis associated budget and On Time Delivery.
Participating when required to the design of the tool or of the piece itself, in order to make implemented the tooling requirement.
Being the entry point for site team for any request of support.
Coordinating the synopsis task with sub-contractor or technician.
Identifying on market standard tools.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years in similar role.
Successful initial experience in design of lifting equipment and access platform or significant experience on site.
Member of the Ordre des Ingenieurs du Quebec (OIQ), or ability to obtain an engineering permit in a reasonable time.
Knowledge of Hydro products, is a plus.
Result oriented, drive efficiency in execution; shall be able to deliver the outcome on time & as per schedule requirement of projects.
Shall be open minded, multicultural & shall be able to work efficiently with cross regional team of respective COEs.
Fluent in written and spoken English and French: The employee will be required to interact fluidly with colleagues in our other facilities across and/or outside of Canada, and who are generally unable to communicate in French and whose language at work is predominantly English.
Good knowledge of CAO software like Autocad, Solidworks.
