(Internal: Engineering VI)
+ Serve as the primary liaison between the company and EPC/M contractor for all Civil, Structural, and Architectural engineering deliverables
+ Represent the Owner in engagements with the local utility provider for power, water, and related infrastructure connections and approvals
+ Review engineering drawings, specifications, and design deliverables prepared by contractors for compliance with project requirements, industry codes, and regulatory standards
+ Provide input into constructability reviews, value engineering assessments, and risk mitigation strategies.
+ Monitor geotechnical, site development, drainage, earthworks, roadworks, and structural designs for both temporary works and permanent facilities
+ Support CSA aspects during the feasibility study, including review of cost estimates, design criteria, and development schedules
+ Provide oversight during early works (site preparation, earthworks, utility tie-ins)
+ Monitor contractor progress during execution, ensuring on-time, cost-effective delivery of CSA scope
+ Assist with quality assurance and inspection processes to confirm compliance with contractual and technical requirements
+ Oversee CSA construction activities, including field inspections where required. In conjunction with EPC/M contractor
+ Provide input during pre-commissioning, commissioning, and ramp-up activities related to CSA systems and structures
+ Verify as-built documentation and support turnover of CSA packages to operations
+ Provide regular updates, risk alerts, and technical reports to the Owner's project leadership team
+ Participate in progress meetings with EPC/M contractor, utilities, and internal stakeholders
+ Ensure alignment of CSA scope with project budget, schedule, and quality standards
+ Engage in the practice of professional engineering which:
+ Requires the application of engineering principles
+ Is an act of planning, designing, composing, evaluating, advising, reporting, supervising, or managing any of these acts
+ Involves the safeguarding of life, health, property, economic interests, the public welfare or the environment
+ Apply expert-level engineering knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to meet program requirements in the area of expertise
+ Implement and direct the specialty engineering services on projects and programs from inception through to completion
+ Set the overall direction for engineering services on the project or program and ensure the work is fully supported from an engineering standpoint in an integrated, compliant, efficient, and cost-effective manner
+ Organize engineering services activities per the mission and goals of the project or program
+ Create and manage short and long-term engineering service goals and success criteria for projects or programs
+ Manage senior-level customer relationships
+ Ensure there is a communication plan in place for meeting with stakeholders (including senior management and sponsors) to make the exchange of project-related information easy and transparent
+ Advise on the production of accurate and timely reporting of engineering services and project or program performance throughout its life cycle
+ Set and adjust, if required, the engineering services expectations for the project or program while delegating and managing deliverables with the engineering team
Working Conditions
+ Hybrid - The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at the client or in an Accenture office or center.
Education:
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
+ Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng, PE, or equivalent) in Canada or the USA strongly preferred (or eligible to register)
Experience:
+ Minimum of 18 years of experience in Engineering
+ Minimum 15 years of progressive engineering experience in mining, heavy industrial, or major infrastructure projects
Skills:
+ Strong ability to review and critique technical deliverables and construction progress
+ Excellent stakeholder communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
+ Proficiency with engineering review tools and heavy industry project management practices
+ Ability to work independently with limited direction, while providing clear recommendations to Owner's leadership
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
+ Demonstrated experience working as an Owner's Representative or in an oversight/review capacity for EPC/M contractors.
+ Previous exposure to mining and mineral processing project environments is a strong asset.
+ Proven knowledge of CSA design standards, codes, and regulatory requirements relevant to both U.S. and Canadian jurisdictions.
+ Experience interfacing with utility providers and coordinating tie-ins for power, water, and related infrastructure.
+ Expert grasp of prevailing engineering methods
+ Expert in other engineering-related software

Other:
+ Able and willing to travel occasionally to Arizona project site or contractor offices.
+ Eligible to work in either Canada or the United States.
