Employment Type : Permanent Full-time Location(s) : SK-South West-Swift Current SK-Central West-Rosetown, SK-Central West-Kindersley Salary Range : $38.454 -$46.812 Hourly Salary Supplement : included in hourly salary range (in-scope) About the role:

Reporting to the Manager, System Operations South, your primary responsibility will be to support eHealth's Active Directory environment. This includes managing current state and assisting with solution design of future state. You will participate in creating and managing the work plans of the Active Directory technical support staff and writing process documentation. Other responsibilities include preparing status reports and managing issue escalations.


Typical daily duties:

• Responsible for responding to incidents, service requests for Active Directory, Exchange online, M365, server, storage related calls
• Perform administration and operations on an enterprise server and data storage environment
• Continually research and evaluate new and emerging operational standards, and recommend the use of these operational standards
• Document operational procedures & standards for the operations team



To qualify for this position, you will have knowledge/experience with the following:

• Solid understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy;
• Experience working with an enterprise ticketing tool (USD, ServiceNow, etc.);
• Understand and experience with Change management best practice;
• Microsoft office suite of tools.
• Troubleshoot problems and identify resources required to solve issues;
• Prioritize issues and ones workload;
• Meet critical deadlines and service levels in a reactive work environment;
• Understand when to escalate issues to other team members;


Our ideal candidate would have attained the knowledge and skills required for this position through the completion of a post-secondary computer science degree, or diploma, and 3 years of experience working within an integrated IT/Health support environment. A combination of education and experience may be considered.

A large and complex organization, eHealth is comprised of 30+ clinical and non-clinical program (service) areas that all work together to support health care providers and teams across the province in delivering the best possible care to patients, providers, citizens, and health system users. Additional programs that also support patient care and information include Virtual Care, the MySaskHealthRecord, and the Provincial Electronic Health Record. eHealth is also responsible for the administration of various pieces of legislation to manage the registration of/changes to all vital event records (e.g. birth, marriage, death, etc.), registration of legal name changes, registration of adoptions, and for maintaining the provincial health registry for health services eligibility and distribution of health services cards.



The eHealth teams engage directly with health system partners and other stakeholders both provincially and federally to ensure all services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

• Ability to write/create and communicate (verbal and written), explain or present (technical or non-technical) information to wide variety of technical and non-technical individuals and/or groups in a clear, accurate and understandable manner. Material may include, but is not limited to: user, systems and requirements documentation and procedures, project plans, letters, requests for proposals, feasibility studies, recommendations and reports, at a level appropriate to the target group.

• Ability to conceptualize, develop, monitor, adjust and implement projects, including facilitating a group process to successfully implement technological change and business transition within the organization, taking into consideration numerous and changing priorities, and or resources to achieve project goals.

• Ability to identify, explore and evaluate options on processes and methodologies and information technology solutions in order to design new business systems and develop feasible recommendations.
• Ability to diagnose, extract, recall, synthesize, conceptualize and apply ideas, processes and information to incorporate new technology and diagnose technical problems(delays, malfunctions, and errors) in order to determine the true cause of the problem and to create new solutions in a constantly changing technological and business environment within a reasonable time frame.

Interpersonal

• Ability to build cooperative working relationships with coworkers and clients to ensure credibility and confidence in services provided as well to build capacity in client's knowledge and ability to use and apply services.

• Ability to independently prioritize and organize one's own workload to meet tight deadlines and successfully complete projects in changing environment. (A bit of project management involved)

• Ability to gather, understand and synthesize specialized information in a way that can be applied to meet the needs of the organization and within given constraints.

Technical

• Solid understanding and expertise implementing and supporting Active Directory domain upgrades and domain migrations.
• Successful record of leading and delivering large IT technology releases in a multi-forest, multi-domain environment.
• Experience with application AD-integration, authentication and authorization configuration.
• Our team members participate in an after-hours standby rotation to provide operations and support for service availability 24/7.
