Working within the Data Network division of Digital Health, the Systems Analyst I will be required to provide Network support and expertise to all departments (Clinical, Administrative, Finance, Hospital Support, etc). They will be required to provide guidance and recommendations for network solutions and perform various roles within Data Networks such as fibre optic and data cable management; configuration and installation of network switches, routers and security systems; collecting and analysing data captures; planning and coordinating the support for networked systems; liaison with users and vendors to troubleshoot network issues; work with system support and subject matter experts to understand, aid in the creation of, refine, and implement enterprise network systems.The Computer Systems Analyst I will support, configure, deploy, test and document wired and wireless network solutions on existing and new enterprise systems. The position requires the ability to thoroughly test, analyze, configure and implement network technologies within a high-availability environment consisting of complex switched and routed network architectures (local and wide area networks, Wi-Fi and Voice over IP), while complying with disaster recovery practices and procedures - including performance of data and configuration integrity validation to all network communications infrastructure.The Computer Systems Analyst I will require a comprehensive knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and apply VLAN management, SNMP, QoS and RSTP configuration to network design and infrastructure. These duties will include application in a multi-linked stacked-switch architecture with extended Wi-Fi capabilities.Job Demands

Graduation from a recognized university with a Computer Science degree, or a Bachelor Degree supplemented by a graduate diploma in Information Technology (minimum 1 year), or a 3-year diploma in Information Technology (with a concentration in Networking Communications). Network industry certifications are considered an asset. A minimum of five years\' experience in enterprise networking and systems design are required, including a strong knowledge of routing protocols such as OSFP, LAN protocols such as RSTP, TCP/IP, and VLAN configuration, network redundancy methodologies, and Wi-Fi Radio Frequency design, planning, installation and administration.
