Role and Responsibilities
This position is for an M365 / Azure Engineer I with 1 - 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working with M365 components and Active Directory to manage/support ~3,500 accounts/clients. The candidate will work as part of the AXIS BTS team under the direction of the AD & Messaging Tower Lead. This position will work with AXIS internal and external business partners, IT organization, and multiple outsourcing providers to effectively deliver infrastructure services and operational assurances in this functional area through the planning and management of:
o Build and maintain productive relationships within AXIS, the Infrastructure Technology Outsourcing (ITO) supplier, and other suppliers to enable the objectives of their towers to be fully realized.
o Support the achievement of service levels and metrics-based performance in collaboration with the Outsourcing Suppliers
o Tracking, and oversight of day-to-day operations
o Promptly respond and resolve inquiries and escalations. Ensure systemic issues are identified and remedial actions are taken to prevent future occurrences.
o Ensures adherence to enterprise IT policies and procedures
o Escalations related to incident management and service requests
o Adherence to AXIS policies, procedures, and technical standards
o Provide support for IT and Business project activities
o Performs other duties as assigned
o Works under supervision with independent judgement including escalations when necessary.
o Work outside of regular hours may be required
Technology Specific Job Responsibilities:
o Working knowledge skills in Active Directory, and Azure
o Strong knowledge of Excel
o Working knowledge

  • AD / Azure L1 troubleshooting
  • Powershell scripting
  • User / Group administration
  • AD Connect
  • DNS
o Understanding of
  • GPOs
  • Share and corporate drive structure and permissions
  • Troubleshooting skills in Azure, AD and SSO
  • Azure Roles and conditional policies
o Working knowledge of MFA knowledge, a plus
o Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation
Qualifications and Education Requirements
o Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Business, IT or related field or equivalent experience
o MCSE or MCITP a plus
o 1 - 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in M365 and components, Active Directory and Azure
o Ideally the candidate should possess:
o A working knowledge of ITIL
o 1 or more relevant certifications
o At least 1 - 2 years or more experience working in an enterprise environment

For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of Base Pay (Halifax) in USD 36,000 \xe2\x80\x93 51,500 \xe2\x80\x93 66,700 Base Pay (Alpharetta / New Jersey) 64,500.00 - 86,000.00 - 107,500.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including the experience of the successful candidate and their work location.
