The Information Technology Project Coordinator is responsible for managing all projects across all sites. The main responsibility will work closely with the project manager to ensure that all IT needs are meet. This would involve planning, schedule, risk management, documentation on all new projects to provide a transfer knowledge. The project Coordinator will work closely with the IT director to ensure that time lines and budgeting are maintained.Responsibilities:

  • Primary point of contact for project and work vendors.
  • Network Infrastructure Design for new sites or expansion.
  • Become Familiar with Priva Environmental and Priva Performance system
  • Able to manage and understand Paging /Intercom
  • Familiar with Kantech door Access, Avigilon and Crestron
  • Provide network support to all Local and remote site.
  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Communicate with clients to identify and define requirements, scope out the work
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
  • Make sure that clients' needs are met as projects evolve
  • Help prepare budgets
  • Analyze risks and opportunities
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Create and maintain a standardization document that can be used for all vendors
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, formal training.
  • Experience with Cable management.
  • Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
  • Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
  • Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
  • Maintain and support all remote sites and coordinate with vendors as needed
  • Become familiar with all system and application and provide business optimization workflow to streamline processes.
Requirements:
  • A degree, diploma or certificate in Computer Science, Network Technologies, or related discipline (required)
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience providing IT Support (required)
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve Windows Server, computer hardware, printer hardware, peripherals, and email systems issues
  • Strong networking knowledge and experience (preferred)
  • Project management skills and the ability to handle different tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate keen attention to detail and task-related accuracy, as well as consistent follow-through skills.
  • Able to work in a team environment with individuals of all leadership styles, personalities, and career levels
  • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of private information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a high energy individual who is self-motivated
  • On-call flexibility required
  • Other core expectations as defined by the company
Working Conditions:
  • Hours of work may vary depending on business needs; ability and willingness to travel with no travel restrictions
  • This job operates within a refrigerated warehouse, where temperatures range from 45-55F. The noise level in the work environment can be loud due to packaging machinery, and forklift truck operation
  • Role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Specific vision capabilities required; employee is to work in front of a computer, sitting for prolonged periods
  • The position may involves lifting to 30-pounds, occasionally up to 50-pounds
