Our Information Technology Services department is looking for an Information Technology, Business Relationship Partner to join their team!


What You Will Do





As the IT Business Relationship Partner you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a strategic partnership between the IT department and business units at TTC. You will focus on aligning technology solutions with business goals to drive operational efficiency, enhance customer and user experience, and support business objectives.



You will be responsible for building strong relationships with business leaders to understand their goals and technology needs, acting as a trusted advisor to align IT capabilities with business objectives.



Identify opportunities to improve business performance and advocate for technology solutions that enhance efficiency and support innovation.



Collaborate with IT teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and work closely with Product Managers to integrate strategic objectives into the product roadmap.



Facilitate IT demand management, prioritize business needs, and lead collaboration on IT investment opportunities.



Support IT governance processes, conduct market research, foster a culture of innovation, and manage a relationship team to oversee strategic partnering across the organization.

What Qualifications Do You Bring ?




Exceptional relationship-building and leadership skills. Strong business and commercial management knowledge. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. Superior analytical and technical skills. Knowledge of IT business processes, ERP systems, cloud solutions, and enterprise architecture. Advanced negotiation, problem-solving, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Strong financial literacy and portfolio investment management. Proficiency in data analysis and project management (waterfall and agile methodologies). Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Familiarity with relevant issues, legislation, and research methods. Quick understanding of TTC's organizational structure, functions, operations, and relevant business strategies, policies, and procedures. Rapid acquisition of IT project management framework and policies, including cybersecurity, business continuity, disaster recovery, and mobile/end-user devices. Experience in managing IT vendor relationships; IT procurement experience preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of the Ontario Human Rights Code and related orders, including disability accommodation and accessibility requirements. University degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
