In that case, this exciting opportunity for an ERP Business Systems Analyst with the IS/IT team may be the perfect opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and designing solutions to meet those requirements. They will also be responsible for testing, implementing, and maintaining software applications and systems to improve business processes. The ideal candidate will have a background in Manufacturing and Finance processes and experience working on a business project to select a new ERP solution. Salary & Benefits The annual base salary for this role is listed below. Locations Toronto, Ontario or Victoria, BC Offices. Base salary range is between $83,957.5 \xe2\x80\x93 $142,882 CAD. Annual variable compensation tied to goal completion targets 3 - 7.5% of the base salary. Employees are also eligible to earn profit sharing. StarFish Medical works with external compensation consultants annually to ensure our ranges reflect the market and our compensation philosophy. StarFish Medical utilizes a career framework that outlines the skills, abilities and behaviours required to move between levels of a job family. Placement within a range is based on those skills, abilities, and behaviours. When candidates are assessed for the posted position, we may find that their skills are more aligned with a different level and will discuss that as a separate opportunity. That position may have a different pay range. The range posted includes all geographic locations to ensure the available base pay range is shared. If a candidate is moving forward in the hiring process past the first interview, we can share the band specific to their geographic location. What You\'ll Be Doing
  • Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge.
  • Manage the business impact of systems changes, including leading the development and presentation of user implementation training and educational materials and leading client meetings to resolve problems related to process changes and linkages.
  • Work directly with clients to understand the individual needs of the business.
  • Use a variety of data analysis and organization tools to discover the most impactful insights.
  • Create and present reports to executive team members and shareholders to support recommendations.
  • Organize, prepare, and facilitate workshops to gather requirements, lead stakeholder analysis, estimate requirements, define business analysis approach, and lead requirements activities related to ERP and MES integration.
  • Support the delivery of enterprise-wide projects through the application of business analysis tools and techniques.
  • Analyze information gathered, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into use cases, user stories, process maps, test cases and technical specifications.
  • Serve as a liaison between multiple stakeholders to support system design reviews, communicate findings, facilitate decision making and sign-off with business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate business requirements with IT responsibilities, including acting as a primary contact or go-between for the IT department and the business units.
  • Maintain documentation of organizational processes, standard operating procedures, system design, manuals, and other related artifacts.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and post-implementation reviews.
  • Lead and document fit-gap analysis on various systems, leading to successful procurement of solutions that fulfil business requirements.

You are suited to our approach and possess these attributes:
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent field of study is required.
  • Must have considerable knowledge of ERP (knowledge SYSPRO 8 is a huge plus), MES (Manufacturing Execution System) customization and integration approaches.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • 5+ years of analyst work experience, including 5 years of experience identifying and defining business needs, including modelling and documenting technical solutions.
  • Working experience must be in Manufacturing and Finance Processes.
  • Experience working on a business project to select a new ERP solution.
  • Experience leading workshops during implementations.
