We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong commitment to early childhood education and the ability to engage with children effectively. This role will work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community to provide a high-quality nutureing experience.
Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster positive relationships and support each child's development.
Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement.
Lead activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth in children.
Collaborate with special education professionals to support children with diverse learning needs.
Maintain organized records of student attendance, assessments, and communications.
Utilize technology to enhance learning experiences and streamline administrative tasks.
Qualifications
Experience working with young children in an educational setting is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
Organizational skills to manage classroom activities and maintain records efficiently.
Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
Proficiency in writing lesson plans and educational materials is required.
Knowledge of additional languages such as French is an advantage but not mandatory.
