Job Description

We are a private Montessori school seeking a dedicated ECE II (Early Childhood Educator Level II) to join our team. As an ECE II, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care and education to young children.

Only those with a ECE II certification valid in Manitoba will be considered for this position.

Knowledge of the Montessori Method is an asset but not required. Montessori training can be provided.

Responsibilities:

Plan engaging activities for infants outside. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in a classroom setting. Provide care to children while nurturing their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Create a safe and stimulating environment that supports learning and exploration. Collaborate with other educators and parents to ensure the well-being of each child. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements:

Must hold a ECE II certification valid in Manitoba.

Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting. Not afraid to get their hands dirty. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Ability to educate and engage young children effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
