one experienced and deeply intentional Level 3 Infant Educator

Primary Infant Educator

Core Qualifications

Minimum

3 years of demonstrated experience

in a licensed childcare setting

Level 3 Early Childhood Certification

from the Government of Alberta (required) Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Check obtained within the last 8 weeks Valid First Aid + CPR certification from an AHS-approved provider

Responsibilities

Design and implement responsive, developmentally appropriate programming for infants Foster a safe, nurturing environment through calm presence, active supervision, and respectful communication Support infant routines including feeding, sleep, transitions, and caregiving with dignity and intention Maintain accurate documentation related to attendance, development, and daily care Collaborate closely with families to support continuity between home and school Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations Participate in ongoing professional development and reflective practice
Opening Manager Responsibilities (7:00am-4:00pm Shift)

Lead daily opening procedures for the campus, ensuring classrooms are prepared, safe, and welcoming Support smooth staff transitions and morning routines across the program Act as a point of leadership presence during opening hours, supporting educators and operations as needed Communicate proactively with leadership regarding any morning observations or operational needs Model Blum's standards of professionalism, calm, and preparedness at the start of each day
